In this workshop two paleographers of the ancient Latin World, Serena Ammirati and Paolo Fioretti, illustrate the history of the Latin script from the 1st BC to the 7th century AD, with particular attention to papyrological evidence and proposing pratical exercises on several literary, paraliterary and documentary papyrus photographs. The meeting ends with a lecture of Guglielmo Cavallo (Accademia dei Lincei), focused on communication practices in the Augustean Age.
