Working together with Robert Marichal, founder together with Albert Brükner of the Chartae Latinae Antiquiores, Tiziano Dorandi has given a particularly significant contribution to this capital work and to some of its volumes published in the Nineties. Going through the origins, the finalities and the history (as well as the ‘future’) of such a fundamental instrument such the ChLA is the point of departure for going deeper in the field of Latin texts on papyrus.
